We are human beings.
Why do we forget that?

artists, athletes, beautiful hedonists.
Those of us that seek beauty, at least.
We try to turn away from our hearts.
Soul and love are hard to find
in a world that’s harsh and morally blind.
We can never truly speak what we mean…
but surely we can try, right?
